Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ISSIMO Story Agency ("ISSIMO", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Findable Video website and tools at findable.video.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you request an AI Findability score, complete the project intake, or contact us, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company, YouTube channel URL, and website URL.

Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) used to operate and secure the site.

YouTube data. Our scoring tools read publicly available information from YouTube channels through the YouTube Data API. We do not collect private YouTube account data. See "YouTube API Services" below.

YouTube API Services

Findable Video uses YouTube API Services. By using our video-scoring tools you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We access only publicly available YouTube metadata — such as a channel's public description and links, and the titles, descriptions, tags, durations, and chapter timestamps of its public videos — using read-only endpoints of the YouTube Data API (channels, playlistItems, and videos; the search endpoint is used only to resolve a channel URL to its channel ID). We do not use OAuth, do not request account authorization, and do not access any private user data, and we do not store video content. We use this public metadata solely to compute an AI-findability score and, for internal research, to compare public channels in aggregate. We do not sell YouTube data or use it for advertising. Any cached API data is refreshed or deleted consistent with YouTube's requirements. If you have authorized an application through your Google account, you can review or revoke that access at the Google security settings page.

How we use information

To generate and deliver the scores and reports you request; to run the project intake and communicate with you about your project; to conduct internal research and benchmarking on how public brand video is structured for AI citation; and to secure, maintain, and improve the site.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, under confidentiality obligations: website hosting and storage (Netlify), transactional email (Resend), document rendering (PDFShift), payments for paid assessments (Stripe), and audience and search data providers used for research (SparkToro, Semrush). Each processes data only as needed to provide its service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit only as long as needed for the purpose you provided it, plus a reasonable period for records. Raw YouTube API responses are used transiently to compute scores and are not retained; for research we keep the derived scores together with the public channel name and URL. Job records created by our scoring tools, including the email address a report is sent to, expire automatically after 30 days, and a completed batch job is deleted as soon as its report has been emailed. You can also ask us to delete your submitted information at any time by emailing impact@issimo.co, and we will action the request.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have given us by emailing impact@issimo.co. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, which we honor.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Updated" date above reflects the latest version.
